Dual flush toilets give you the freedom to choose how much water you consume. Flush the handle down for a light flush or up for a more powerful flush. With the dual flush toilet you use as much or as little water as you need.

Unlike toilets from the past, today’s low flow, dual flush options offer more power than ever and perform as well or better than standard toilets. Additionally these toilets save precious water each time you flush. With all the benefits, there’s no reason not to go green.

The faucet uses a motion sensor, so it only turns on when you're using the water. You'll cut down on wasted water each time you use the faucet.

The faucet offers six colorful interchangeable handles to choose from.

The hands free feature also helps you and your family cut down on the spread of germs.

Emerald Hot Water Recirculation System

Have you ever turned on a water faucet and had to wait a long time to get hot water? This wastes a lot of water and energy and can also be time consuming and inconvenient. The Grundfos Comfort System is a perfect solution to this problem. The problem can occur in any type of water outlet such as a faucet, a dishwasher or a clothes washer, and usually occurs because the water heater is located far away from the outlet. The Grundfos recirculating system circulates hot water near the outlet so you have hot water ready right when you need it.

A low-watt motor ensures minimum water heater operating costs. It also cuts down on pipe and water heater wear as well as energy consumption.

Additionally, you can set a timer to allow the system to work only at peak times, to further reduce energy use and costs.

Recirculation System

Benefits of the System:

No return line required

Installs in less than 1 hour in most homes

No electricity required under the sink

Uses less energy than a 25 watt light bulb

Can save up to 16,000 gallons of water per year

Emerald Tankless Water Heaters

A tankless water heater is a small but powerful and efficient water heating system that heats water as you use it, so you don’t waste energy heating and re-heating water that is sitting in a storage tank.

The U.S. Department of Energy states that heating water is the biggest singular source of energy consumption for most U.S. households, so heating your water more efficiently can make a significant impact on your overall energy usage.

Noritz Tankless Water Heater
This Noritz heater produces a higher volume of hot water than other tankless water heaters in its class. Other, smaller units only produce enough water to run one major fixture at a time, so you may have to choose between the shower and the dishwasher. Not with this unit. The Noritz produces enough hot water to run four showers at once, and the water never runs out, so there's no waiting for more water to heat up. With this unit you get all the energy saving benefits of a tankless water heater without the inconvenience that many units create.

Tax Credits                                                                       The Federal Government has increased the tax credit for tankless water heaters to 30% of the cost of the unit and installation, up to $1500. To learn more about the rebates go to the Energy Star Website.

Hard Water Solutions

Stop hard water in its tracks

Plumbing Doctor offers two systems to help you prevent scale build: the Scale Stop System by Next Filtration Technologies for residential buildings and One Flow by Watts for commerical buildings. Both systems offer you an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional water softeners. These systems treat calcium and other ions that cause build up and can damage your fixtures and leave unsightly stains on your dishes, tubs, and toilets. However, unlike a traditional water softener these systems don't use any salt or chemicals, so your water won't leave a slimy coating on your skin and hair. These systems are also better for the environment because they don't release salt or chemicals into the water table and they don't waste precious water through regeneration.

To learn more about the systems, click here to view a short video or visit the Scale Stop website or the Watts website.

Standard installation cost for residential is $1961.15.

Cost for commercial units varies.
